(gta) car broken into at spadina and cameron

last night around 11, my car was broken into with the rear passenger door glass smashed and our bags taken. As we walked around to check for our bags, we noticed that the sidewalks was littered with glass, prob from other break ins. I reported to police already but just wanted to place a warning here as well.

one question i wanted to ask now that i remembered, is that i had a parking ticket left in one of the bags stolen. I was hopin of fightin it, but does anyone know where i can go or call to get it reprinted? Thx

I was walking by that area at around 2300 on the 12th and there was a green Jag there with its rear passenger window smashed. It was parked just outside the youth center and may have been the glass you saw.

Sorry to hear about the break-in. A big rule, a little late now, is to never leave anything in view inside your vehicle. It's an invitation.

You've got a lot to deal with and the parking ticket is the last thing you want to think about. If it's a Toronto parking ticket, you don't need to worry about it. After the 15 days have expired you will get a "notice of impending conviction" in the mail which is sent to the plate owner. That will give you another 15 days to deal with the ticket.

If it's not your car or a rental, you can go to one of the Parking Tag Operations Offices (http://www.toronto.ca/parkingtickets/index.htm#person) and ask for another copy. Since you're there, you can request a trial at that point.
