Hi everyone... just wondering if the people who insure their car with PC Financial can answer this.

Does PC Financial increase your rates if you get one speeding ticket? I know that some companies allow you to get 2 on your record and the 3rd one causes the increase.... so I'm just wondering about PC.

I don't need to know all the information about fighting tickets and stuff like that. I already know a lot about that topic (unfortunately). I just want to know about rate increases with PC. I would call them to ask but then that tips them off to check your record when you renew (you can always hope they don't check... although unlikely).

I'm in the same boat, I'm with PC and I've got my first speeding ticket about a month ago. Will have to wait until I get the renewal papers to see if there is an increase, but I highly doubt it. I second on not calling to ask any sort of questions, it's advice I've heard before.

PC is getting out.

They placed their clients with Scottish & York, which is a subsidiary of Aviva.

Upon renewal, the PC clients will apparently be transitioned to Aviva.

I guess that explains why many with the PC mastercard were getting their credit limit reduced and late fees up.

I've been with PC Insurance for the last 4 years, they've always used Scottish & York. I also have PC MC and haven't had my available credit reduced. As far as I know, they are separate from each other. Getting out of the insurance business doesn't mean they are discontinuing financial services.
