One thing I can think of on a major scale not too long ago was during the
L.A riots of 1992...
Where a lot of Korean merchants were looted and random Asians on the streets were targets for vicious assaults and attacks.
These incidents happened mostly in poor pockets of Los Angeles where the residences where mostly lower income Blacks or Hispanics who blamed their economic troubles on Korean merchants (though random Asians of ANY ethnicity were targetted, due to the fact the perpetrators couldn't tell the difference)
Interesting argue.. gotta read more!
