Hey guys, I just recently bought an Xbox console at the Source. It's opened and it's been like 5 days. My friend offered to sell me his 360 for much cheaper than the retail price, so I'm just wondering if it would be possible to return the thing?

they may charge a restock fee, highly likely. check your receipt if it says final sale or something cause they are going out of business

Check your reciept to see what it says but so far all indications are that The Source is not going out of buisness and will probably just be rebranded again.

No, Intertan is in the process of going over bids to be bought out. Like mentioned before, there will just be rebranding, but there may be store closures, but the company will still be around.

But as for the console returns, company policy is no refunds on game consoles if it's open, they can exchange within 30 days if it's defective, but no refunds if the box is opened.
But it really depends on who you talk to, you may get store credit (gift card) out of it if everything is in pristine condition. Or you may get someone who isn't up on the policies and give you full refund with no questions asked.
