This is really screwed up, but when I was born up til the age of around 5, I was left handed

But apparantly it is unlucky to be left handed in some Chinese cultures (or so I was told by my parents) so I was forced to use my right hand

And now, I'm confused =/

w/ Golf / Hockey / Baseball I'm a lefty
everything else I'm a righty

@ school, just a messy writing right handed guy, lol

My parents tried to force me to be right handed too.. didn't work. I throw and write left handed, but batting, swinging a golf club, and for some odd reason bowling, I'm right handed. Many other things like using scissors, I can do with either hand.

Rafael Nadal was a born righty, but was coached from a young age to play tennis as a lefty. Smashing your forehand when righties are forced to return with a backhand is awesome :D

The majority of people are right handed.

Coincidently, five of the last seven American presidents have been left-handed....
Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr. were PURE lefties (did everything lefthanded).

In Canada, there has been no left-handed Prime Minister.

Someone mentioned that left handed people are 5 times as likely to die of cancer and other genetic illnesses. if that is true, they should be paying higher taxes and insurance premiums.

The poll either needs a better definition of handed-ness, or another option.

I write with my right hand and mouse with my right hand - but I throw with my left, shoot hockey left, golf left, bat left. I also play guitar with my left. In fact, I do pretty much everything with my left EXCEPT write and mouse.

I know I am not the only person who is like this either I have met others.

EDIT: - I hammer with my left, use scissors with my right, use a screwdriver or drill in my left. I hold a fork or spoon in my left hand.

You sound left-handed to me, since you do most things with your left and only some with your right. So overall (by majority) you would be a lefty.

However if you can do the same things equally good with both hands then that would be ambidextrous.
