Getting from Malton GO to Yonge/Sheppard

a friend is trying to find a way to get to and from their job at Malton GO station (or pearson airport area). The Go Train doesn't come that often and the TTC takes 1.5 hours so they are looking for an easier way to get to yonge/sheppard or even just the subway line. Anyone have any ideas? I'm not very informed about transit north of the bloor line.

there is a ttc bus that runs from the airport to the bloor subway line, switch at yonge / bloor and your good.

OR

Take the GO bus from the airport to York mills station, then walk to yonge / sheppard (about 10-15 minute walk, thats up hill) or take the subway 1 stop.
