best place to ski around Ottawa?

I recently got into skiing and I'm wondering whats the best place to ski around Ottawa. I'm a beginner so I'm still renting for the time being..and I'm a poor student so cost is a big issue.

There's 2 for 1 night skiing at Camp Fortune on tuesday and saturday nights. On saturday nights I think rentals are 2 for 1 as well. Night skiing begins @ 4pm.

They have relatively short runs so it's prolly good for beginners.

Mont Ste Marie is a really good hill for beginners and isn't a bad hill overall.

Edelweiss and Mont Cascade aren't bad either.

Fortune has the 2for1 discounts but it gets really busy.

the sloooow lifts and the super short runs @ fortune kill me. i hate going there honestly. haha.. just wondering if the other local hills are much better.

i miss vancouver's local mountains. :(

you can try and go to Vorlage in Wakefield (10mins from fortune)....they have like 3 beginner hills that are not that pretty decent.

im gonna try edelweiss this time..but i heard the quality of their rentals aren't as good...anyone confirm?
