Samsung Fridge heads up

Just a heads up top anyone thinking about buying the Samsung, single door bottom mount fridges... After being in several stores this week looking we were told by virtually every store that they are discontinued, hence everyone having them on sale right now. FS doesn't have that many (platinum anyway) left in the system so it may be time to buy for anyone thinking about it. I know we got the last one, floor model at that, at Leons in all of Niagara. We even got them to pricematch FS.

We were told at all the stores that told us that it's discontinued that Samsung is still making fridges, just that they are concentrating on the french door as they move towards being higherend pricepoints...

Hi, a few comments:
1) Samsung has a new bottom mount similar as the current version but in stainless steel. It s/b in most retailers' system already
2) Sears has been clearing the current version for months. 21 cu ft is sold out weeks ago. There might be a few 19 left
3) Lowes still has a few in their warehouse. I believe they are all on clearance right now.
I just bought a brand new 21 platinum version for my parents for $900 from Lowes (they PM Sears for me & gave 10% of the cost of the fridge instead of 10% of the diff)

PS: Try The Brick if you really can't find this Samsung fridge. They have the Brada version which is bascially the same fridge from Samsung

We've had a Samsung french door fridge for about a year now. Absolute perfect fridge.
