First of all, I am not being cheap... just want to know...

Dealer and I settled on an OTR price... Now Dealer wants additional $$ for Registration plate and Vehicle Registration payable upon delivery of this car

Question: When you settle on an OTR price, who covers registartion costs?

If it has "EXTRA" in the registration box on the bill of sale... then you pay it on pickup.

If it has $100 then they are most likely over charging you.

If you are referring to cost of registration during the negotiation process... it is not included, as it is a variable amount based on exactly when the car is plated and the birthday of the customer.

Plate transfer $10.

New Plate:
Min 3 months $38.50
Max 14 months $106.35

Thanks for clarifying this issue that OTR price doesn't include cost of
vehicle registartion.

assuming OTR = on-the-road price, that should, IMO, include all taxes and fees. After all, if you can't take the car on the road after paying the OTR price, then that can't be the OTR price.
