Hi,

If I removed the battery from a 2008 CRV (and put it back of course), would I lost many settings?

I know radio will be reset. But how about service settings? Mileage?

Will the car lock up and I couldn't start the car after I replace the battery myself?

Its a 2008. Ask the dealer you bought it from. They are best equiped to answer your question.

You wish. :D:D

Why do you want to remove a battery from a car that has warranty?

Make sure your radio code is handy or it'll cost you to find the code

No, but some will disappear. Some of the ones in volatile memory on the computer.
No, the mileages and service reminders are not in volatile memory. OEMs have different ways or retaining data for models and cars.
I have no idea what your third question is or where you got it from. It makes no sense.

Very good tip.

Yup! And if you don't fix the situation in 3 hours, the car will explode!

Besides the presets and potential locking of the radio, there is nothing to worry about. If you are worried, you can always get one of these.

Only if you replace it with a dead battery or dont connect it correctly
