There are differences. Call and ask a dealer in mid March or check Toyota.ca

go for a Honda...they're more reliable.
My family has bought Toyota for decades but recently, I've found that they fall apart quicker. They don't make them like they used to.
We now have a Toyota and Honda in our driveways. A mouse was able to get in and live in the Toyota..and not the Honda! Check out the Honda!

I don't know ... the mouse chose the Toyota, and not the Honda, that should tell you something
Seriously, both cars are reliable. I find the Civic is a bit sportier, but the Corolla appeals to a certain market as well. Reliability-wise I'm sure they're both comparable. The models coming out for 2010 aren't all-new, so they've had time to iron out bugs, if any (I guess the Civic would benefit more from this, as the latest full re-design was done for the '06 year).

Anyone buy one yet? Also wondering what model you got, how you like it and how much you paid.

I drive a 2009 Corolla S (my parents bought it) and I would recommend civic over the Corolla!!!

I think the new Corolla will have stability control available on all trim levels - not sure if is standard or just optional. I think for the 09 MY it was only available on the XRS.

I see leather is now an option.

Went to test drive the S model today, but felt the 1.8l engine a little lacking for me on the highway. Will be going to another dealer for a better deal and to test drive the xrs.

I think thats around $200 to much. At a minimum you shouldn't be paying more then 21500 for a 2010 with Conv Pkg and no more then 22700 for one with enhanced convenience pkg.
I posted this info in the CarCostCanada topic but these prices are 2 months old...
Someone in another forum PM'd me invoice prices with freight together for Corolla CE 2010 with Enhanced Convenience Package but I got no other info then this.
Corolla CE 2010 with Enhanced Convenience Package
Wholesale with Enhanced Convenience Package and $1270 freight included: $19250
MSRP: $20570
+ Applicable Taxes, No Cash Incentives

I know that Toyota's are pretty reliable and everything, but they are sure plain looking these days.

Don't do it ...
I commute 75Km one way in a 2003 corolla.
It is the most boring car to drive ever .. slow, tons of body roll and steering like a tug boat.
The only upside is after 200K it has had no problems.
So unless your a hard core commuter get yourself something else..!!!

I have been driving my 09 XRS for 1.3 years and still liking it ;) I recently put on EBC pads all around and the braking is awesome.
