Anyone ever buy a bed from Structube ? Well we just did. Real piece of crap for 800$ The wooden laid that is supposed to support the mattress is weak as heck! I bough a 200$ Ikea bed that is superior compared to this bed.
The problem we have now is we put the bed together and tossed the boxes. It was only after i put my knee into the mattress that we found it would not support my weight... 220lbs lol.
Their exchange policy is
We value the complete satisfaction of our customers. Therefore, our retail locations will accept and allow a full refund provided (1) your original proof of purchase is submitted and (2) the merchandise is in its original condition, unassembled and unopened, within 5 business days of the billing date. Refunds will be available in their original form of payment. (Cash refunds are subject to in-store funds availability and may be paid by mail corporate-issued checks).
Should you come across any imperfections in manufacture and require an exchange, please contact your sales associate within 5 business days of purchase / delivery in order to properly assist you. All products carry a one-year warranty; Structube will grant exchanges for the same item or same value only on merchandise showing manufacturer defects.
Lesson learned.
Anyone wanting to buy a bed from them, don't

We bought our bed from Ikea, and decided not to buy their wooden slats as support for the mattress. Instead, we bought two sheets of plywood from HomeDepot and asked them to cut to size. Ended up saving some money and got a much sturdier bed.

Spoke to the "manager" today who told me he spoke with the district manager. Since we put the bed together, they will not even consider an exchange. Now thats standing behind your product eh!!!!?
Never again will we give this company 1 red cent.

we should all call and ask for prices on their most expensive items.. then tell them we read an online article about their return policy sucking.
I'm willing to do it.

My coworkers have told me that Structube is more or less Ikea quality at high prices, and I'd have to agree. That's a hell of a return policy...

I am planning on buying their ARC lamp since they are the best priced for it.
The only other thing I own from them is a table lamp.

The more and more I talk to these people, and the more I look at their
product, I have a feeling they won't be around much longer. Its seems its all about making a big buck fast.

Thanks, just wondering, did you see/try the bed in the store before you bought it?
I am shopping for a bed now too, so trying to learn from other people's lessons. :)

My wife and I stopped in at the Kitchener store and although some of the stuff looks nice its all crap since all of it is cheap veneer like Ikea. Don't get me wrong I like Ikea for some stuff but its also because the price is reasonable. This place will not last very long if all they are selling is nice looking cardboard. I personally would rather buy solid wood furniture than this stuff.. takes a little longer to get the house furnished but its worth it in the end.

Thats crappy. I'm sorry to hear about that experience. I get their flyers and some of the products looked kind of interesting, but had yet to venture into a retail location. I had suspected that they were poor quality, but hearing your story just makes me not even consider them as an option. I hope that you can get it resolved.

REAL TIME FURNITURE
I found their showroom selection to be tiny... It wasn't worth a drive for me, better to shop on their website.

Structue furniture is all made in China.
I would say it's the same quality as Ikea. At least it is a bit different from Ikea. With Ikea, people know it's Ikea.
I would look into getting a board like someone else suggested.
And if need be, reinforce the board with the legs in the middle if it is still sagging.
