Just wondering moving expenses when you are moving houses can be tax deductable? Because i am not sure if i am going to be moving myself or getting movers?

Thanks

Moving expenses (including movers) can be tax deductible, but it depends on where/why you're moving.

Yes, but only if you moved over 40km closer to a job, or something like that.

If you meet the criteria you have to keep all receipts in case of audit.

They will also ask for a letter from your employer saying that they did not pay for your move.

If you have home office, you can claim portion of it.
