Do you get extended warranty on new appliances?

What do you guys think ? the new appliances look shiny and neat (steam washers and dryer, side by side fridges, ranges, etc) made by GE, LG, etc.. sales ppl are scaring me not to have extended warranty .. should we go with it ?

No, it is always recommended not to go with the extended warrantee, I do on refurbs though or if it's like an extra $5.
