Can you suggest a reasonable Vacuum cleaner?

I'm looking for one which doesn't cost more than $150. Our bissell is almost dying after using for 4 years (just 1 year in the big house) and we are looking for one.We live in 2000sq.ft house with 3 rooms hardwood and 3 rooms with carpets. I generally hand sweep wooden floors and mop them every 2 weeks.
