None of our 3 bathrooms are frilly foo-foo and definitely lean on the masculine side. The main floor powder room is done in a brushed copper paint finish with tan accents. The main bathroom is done in tan paint with black vanity and baseboards. A geometric print shower curtain and stainless steel accents. Our son's bathroom is definitely the most masculine though. Painted a deeper sage'y grey green with black baseboards. A deep expresso wood vanity, mirror and wall shelves. Black towels and metal accents. His tile is all custom though with a geometric insert pattern on the floor and his bath/shower area is as well with black granite trim and accents.

I think if you're looking for inspration and something more on the masculine side it's about the colors and prints/patterns that you choose. Stick more towards stripes, geometrics, etc and darker, richer colors...

Can you post pics of your powder room? I like the sound of copper!

OP, real men don't use bathrooms, they find trees!

34$ is too much? Then try pishing all over the toilet, make sure you get right behind the toilet too. try not to flush for a few days. Free, and manly

I dont see how a bathroom can look girly unless it's in pink, floral, baby blue or purple.

My powder room will be all white.
My bathroom upstairs will be grey/blue/greem
My ensuite already came with dark espresso cabinetry, beige tile, beige.brown tile in shower etc so it's all done up for me.

$34??? For all those pieces since they are in the UK, are about $300!

haha, so true... toilet seat up! Also leave the razor in plain sight and shaving cream... or a shaving blade for more 'manlyness' :)

on a serious note, we gonna spend around 2-3k or so to do a simple reno on ours. tiles/shower door/new vanity/new toilet. keep the colours earth tone and it should turn out okay... no pinky :)

New tile floor - 12x24 floor tiles
3x5' shower with Porcelain and Marble tile + custom glass door
New vanity with marble top
Matching marble back splash
New American Standard toilet

For ~$2500 as well.

I guess the question is, besides it looking masculine, what do you like?

This was bathroom was designed for 3 teenage boys on the show design inc. The colours look really manly, LOL

well if I had to think about manly spaces, I always see dark woods, browns, tans, and deep blues
