HDTV 4250 cable box question???

Ok so I am on the verge of purchasing this product but i am unsure of a few things...if i choose to buy the hd 4250 terminal box i would have access to about 19 hd basic channels at no extra charge from what i read...or are their some sort of hidden activiation fees or minimal monthly fees for the hd box or 19 basic hd channels....

Also, does anyone one know what these free hd channels actually are?

you have to already subscribe to their digital cable service
