Well we get the game through CTV so there are a lot of canadian commercials as replacement... and they aren't as good :P

Either OTA or dishnetwork. HD NBC with bell or rogers will only show canadian commercials due to CRTC deciding that they can not air american commercials.

that's a BIG understatement....if you love network promos, rogers product and station placements, and rehashed commercials from the last 3 years then canadian feeds is where it's at =p

shame too because there were some really funny ones this year that add to the enjoyment during the game.

Were the Canadian commercials any good anyway? I remember the last suberbowl I saw on Canadian TV, the commericals were GARBAGE

It's not just about Super Bowl XLIII & the Commercial, I really hate SimSubbing, these Canadian Networks pissed the hell out of me!!! :mad: This is why I try to record the West feed/late at night.

I hate what I saw last year, CTV News put a story about "catch all the Super Bowl commercial you missed." I thinking no ****, I wonder why. :twisted: :twisted:

We watched NBC-HD in ottawa on rogers, and it was the american version, not ctv.

Favourite commercials: doritos with the snow globe, conan o'brien doing that commercial, and previews for transformers and GI joe :D and obviously godaddy.com!

I loved the conan bud light commercial. It was hilarious. But, a bit bias as I am a huge fan. His self depricating comedy style is one I get (as well as Jon Stewart).

Favs:

- Doritos - Crystal Ball (which wasn't that great, but was the best for this yr)
- Go Daddy - Baseball (Danica Patrick is hot in leather or whatever it is she is wearing from head to toe :D)
- Transformers 2

Other than that, nothing to great this yr.

Nothing really stood out this year. Everyone seemed to like the Doritos crystal ball one.

A lot of commercials seemed to be based on injury and hurting people this year. What ever happened to good ol sex appeal?

Macgruber one was really good, if you liked the skits from SNL.

What I did was go on to MSN.com after every quarter. They had every commercial where you voted on what was best from each quarter. It was convenient and necessary to avoid watching Canadian content. By far, CareerBuilder was the best...who doesn't feel like that going to work. And yea, the Dorito's snowglobe was a close second. I didn't really like Conan's commercial as I felt that he wasn't acting and it really was what he was like. Kind of frightening, really...:D
