It will be action packed but I think it will end up like the first Transformers.
Good special effects, Lame jokes, lack of story, mind blasting (Russell) action.

The problem is that they are so good at making movie trailers that pretty much any movie looks good in a trailer now adays! I mean, sure they can find 30 seconds of good scenes from a movie. But when it is an 1.5 hr! I am hoping this is good too but also best to go in with low expectations!

I don't remember the cartoon much but it seemed pretty different from the vibe I got from the trailer. Instead of the goody two shoes all-american hero, it seemed more badass militants who happened to side with good.

They mentioned something in the trailer about not answering to anyone... is G.I. Joe like an independent group that just does whatever they want?

I attended a panel and spoke briefly with Ray Park (Snake Eyes) at the Calgary Comic Expo and he commented on how he is more excited to play Snake Eyes than he was for Darth Maul. He also claims fans will be very happy with the movie. Hope its true, I'm really looking forward to it!

They are reporting that the movie is junk, yet the studio said that it is all false. Though they would lie to try and save the movie, still i think its another one of the "if it bleeds it leads" kinda stories.
