My dishwasher just caught on fire. No joke, the serial number for mine begins with SHU43C. Please, check your appliances immediately, my whole house could have burned down as I ran it every day in the morning before I go to work. The whole LED Panel as well where the buttons are completely melted off as well to this it burned my counter top.

Here's the link to look up your model number: http://english.bosch-appliances.ca/safetyrecall/dishwasher/. I looked up ours (a SHU5315) and it is not part of the recall - I registered on the site just in case the recall spreads to other model numbers.

Bosch printed a half-page ad in the Toronto Star today regarding this recall and listing the models and serial numbers with a number to call - 800-856-9226.
