This is the wired, keyboard-only version. Nice keyboard, with soft wrist rest and media functions.

Best Buy has it on for $24.99

PM: $21.19 before taxes.

Was $23.95 for me out the door (Ontario)

SOaB, that's less than I paid for it on boxing day. Wish I had seen this on Saturday when I could have gone back in for price protection. :(

Great keyboard by the way, I got one for home and the office. Didn't take too long to get used to the layout and I seem to be typing faster than before now...with fewer mistakes.

Bah, now I feel bad b/c I was going to pick one up on Friday, but didn't want to post until I confirmed...then didn't get around to getting one until today. Sorry 'bout that Imposter...

Man I really wish Logitech would offer a wireless version of this keyboard as a standalone :(

There isn't?
Only the combo?

As for the keyboard, it may be great new seeing how the keys are soft and quiet, but it is kind of huge for a keyboard.

Overall, it's a nice kb, new style.

Looks like a really nice keyboards, thanks. My keyboard has been getting all kinds of gunk in it over time and I'm ready for a new one. http://**************/img/1856/y08m1110mhmd/2.gif

No worries about the late post, andyp. Nothing was stopping me from looking at the flyers myself...and a true RFDer would be doing his due diligence checking the price every day for the 30 day price protection.

I believe X-nemesis is correct, wireless is only available in the combo. As for the size, it's smaller than my last two keyboards. Ergonomic keyboards are usually pretty large so size isn't much of an issue if that's what you're looking for.

Yeah, it's not tiny, but as Imposter said you don't buy an ergonomic keyboard for it's slim profile.

Glad I could help.

I bought one in Dec. when Dell had it on DOD for around $20. Great keyboard, like the ergo design. Haven't really used all those media buttons but that hot-key to pull up a calculator is cool!

i want a minimal gaming keyboard, this one does not have programmable buttons right? if so, they dont look like they are ergonomically placed for gaming.

I purchased this through one of the Dell Sales in December as well. The price was $17.99, lower than any price offered in Boxing day sales. I think the lowest was $25. So i think this is an okay price too.

It is huge, but for the comfort, its amazing. Coming from stock Dell keyboards, its pretty comfortable and the media buttons actually work. There are Vista keys as well, but i don't have vista so they are not being used. But i am still adjusting to it when i am gaming. The Ctrl and Shift keys are a bit further than expected, but i think this is common for ergonomic kbs.

I was reading a review of this KB at http://www.thinkcomputers.org/index.php?x=reviews&id=698&page=3, and the author stated that for gaming, it wasn't too comfortable after an extended period of time. I play mostly FPS games, so this is somewhat a concern. Anyone owners care to comment?

I would say that it isn't as comfortable for the WASD style for FPS. The indented keys are great for typing and the padded wrist rest is great, but I did not like it for FPS. I do like the MX Laser 3200 set I have though for FPS, it rocks.

For typing though, this is one of the most comfortable keyboards out there, even for hunt and peck guys like me :cheesygri

Hope that Helps.

Anyone looking to buy a keyboard should at least look at the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard.

It's a damn fine keyboard. Very comfortable to use, quiet and notebook-like keystrokes. It looks pretty slick as well.

+1 on the most comfortable keyboard...

been using it for quite a while now and loving it quite a lot especially for extended periods of typing

also, i've been using it for L4D...not too many issues with the WASD but i guess there are better gaming keyboards, but as far as ergo goes

This one wins for me hands down

Kinda silly, since "wired" was the 4th word in my post :)

It's a very comfortable keyboard, but until you really get used to it I don't think you'd enjoy it for FPS games...you know, the way the keys are spaced...

Yes, as Chow mentioned, its not "as" comfortable for gaming as a regular keyboard or a gaming keyboard. But as a FPS player, after 10-15 minutes you don't even notice it anymore.

I think the "uncomfortable" stems from the fact that the lowest row is slanted downwards. So i feel the ctrl key is not as pronounced or accessible as a normal one. That being said, is it a problem? Not at all. It just takes a bit getting used to and the comfort level is beyond amazing. My wrists and finger joints thank you logitech.

Typing this from the keyboard, 24 bucks @ FS with tax very nice

They keyboard is kind of weird to the touch due to the "wave" it takes some time to get used to but its nicely build and quiet. http://**********************/s/happy.gif

Great timing as my wireless key board was acting up (I hit a space bar and have 4/5 space move). Picked it up at Future Shop for $24 (inc. tax). Sales guy pretended to forget to do 10 % price match to BB.

I've had this keyboard (got the keyboard and mouse combo from BB) for about 5 months now and I love it. Comfortable for long periods of time and the media functions are great. It does get louder of time though (key strokes) but all keyboards do.

Picked up one at the FS on Merivale in Ottawa - still had 4 or 5 left and the PM was a breeze. I had printouts showing store stock from both stores, but the person still went to the website to check...

Yeah, was super-easy PM for me...she didn't check store stock or anything.

I'm thinking of picking up another one for work (if there are any left!)

Just got home with one after PM at FS. Not sure if I like it yet. Might take some getting used to.

Just a thought.... If I returned this to FS without a receipt tomorrow, would they give me a store credit for $63? (Yes, I know it would be dishonest)

I just pick up the Logitech wave keyboard at BB. Didn't bother price matching with Futureshop.
The keyboard looks very nice, and all the controls are easily reachable. the middle of the keyboard slightly bulges up, but does not interfere with my typing. I love how this keyboard has it's own dust cover to protect it from dust. The wristpad is pretty firm, but functional. The best part of this keyboard is the one touch calculator button...lol!
Replaced my crappy Dell keyboard and I'm a happy camper!:cheesygri

i got an old school micrisoft natural...went to see the wave and i wasn't impressed. it was awkward to reach the y key for some reason and i found the feel of the keyboard not as firm as responsive as i was used to.

does anyone know of a good replacement for the microsoft natural because my keyboard props broke...or can i get keyboard props somewhere

Got the wireless combo from Dell last year.. great keyboard, but only one major gripe: no scroll lock key!

I wanted to use this with my IOgear KVM, but could not because they removed this key which is used by my KVM (cannot change this) to flip between computers!

Why would Logitech do this???

Anyone run into the same issue? If so, how did you deal with it ?

(And no, I'm not buying a new KVM..) ;)

Use a windows tool that lets you bind scroll lock to another key. usually you can find freeware that lets you do this, so bind scroll lock to pause-break, print screen or another key you never use
