Thanks, I don't need/want to spend more than $100 on a mp3 player so this one should be decent, 8GB will be fine. This will be replacing my 4GB Creative Zen i've had for the past few years.

Also, the Deal Extreme is a 4GB for $40usd that is back ordered untill Feb. 27 :confused:

FYI, a friend of mine picked this up at Pacific Mall (Toronto) for $40 or so for a few laughs.

It's a so-so iPod Touch knockoff. The buttons are horribly cheap feeling. The screen is very dull and basically unreadable in sunlight. But if you want an inexpensive MP3/WMA player, it's worth considering.

Got one exactly like that but without the logo in front. The unit itself (physical) is not the greatest. Just like the previous poster said, it feels cheap, button is terrible. But for sound quality and video playback quality, I think it is great for the price. It does what it suppose to do, so can't complain about it.

DX Extreme is the invite only sister site to Deal Extreme. It's prices are 30-40% cheaper than the public site the noobs buy from. You have to log on via a Chinese proxy, though.

Also comes with a 4GB miniSD card, giving you 12GB total (see the "total memory" bit in the stats). Only worth $10 in itself, but still better than nothing.

If the sound quality is half decent, I'll pick one up, thanks for the heads up.
