Ok I've seen these movies on tv but I don't remember the titles of them:

1) It involves 2 cow boys from the present day who travel to New York, I think to find a girl. I remember a part where they are in a fancy restaurant and order wine, the waiter recommends French but they want American.

2) It involves 2 knights and they get sent forward in time to today's world and they need to find a Wizard. I remember there a horse chase and one of them goes into a bar called ye-olde and ends up beating the crap out of everyone. .

Sorry this all I got, but maybe someone can help :)

Crocodile Dundee is about an Australian bushman - not a cowboy - who travels to New York WITH a reporter, so no dice on that one.

Since you got your movies I'm gonna jump in here with mine.
I've seen this short movie on the rogers box a few years back.

It has about 3-5 scenes or situations that all share the exact same dialogue but have completely different stories because of the way the lines are said.

ex. The wife walks in on her husband looking for his keys asking "Did you find them?"
vs. A cop turns the corner to meet up with his partner asking "Did you find them?"

Really clever movie and it has been bugging me to find it again for years.

YES! That could very well be it. I haven't seen it in years so I'll have to find it to confirm but The Tower of Babble looks very promising.

You don't know how many movie buffs I've bumped into and asked if they know what movie this is. Thanks!

Now the journey to finding a copy of this begins.

was one of the couples gay?

I saw a movie like that where the dialogues was the same in 3 movies within the same movie - all 3 played out after each other

it had 3 couples, 1 of the couple was gay the other 2 were straight - but i think one had kids

I don't think so. It was a while ago, but I remember same dialogue in completely different scenarios. The 3 you mentioned seem too similar.

Man its tough trying to locate a copy of The Tower of Babble.
