I know much has been made of the closing of some Office Depots already.
There are some good deals to be had.
I was in the one on the south side of Dundas just west of the 427 today and they had some Zen stones and Sansaclip MP3 players left. They were 2GB. Nice little mp3 players for the gym or walking. The Zen Stone included a free skin with a clip...built in speaker. They were $25. The Sansaclip $35. There were at least six Zens and four Sansas. These are hot prices for these units.

Yes, but that's the only time I saw it that low.
The clip is the best MP3 player of 2008 here.

which location did you buy from and what size player did you get? the OP said the 2gb is $35. i've had my eye on the 2gb clip since i lost my rio s10 a few weeks ago, but have been putting it off because of the price. i called my local store and they quoted me the same price that is stated online - $89.99. i'm not going to pay anywhere near that much for one.

Not at all trying to start any kind of flame war here, but I found the review in the link provided to be hilarious:
While saying the Sansa Clip is the best MP3 player of the year (due to it's audio quality, they state:
The Clip has a fantastic little form factor; cheap in build quality but very rugged
Isn't that an oxymoron? And why would you use the word "cheap" for anything other than price in the first sentence of your "best of 2008" review? But then there's more...
The interface is simple and relatively straight forward. The features on the clip are more or less average,
The interface is "relatively" straight forward? Isn't that like saying Bush's approval rating was "relatively" good? ;) Also calling the features "more or less average" - it's not just average... it's *somewhat* average. But "Best of 2008" lol.
Sorry, I kid. Sounds like a good deal for ~$35 or less if you hoard and then use the coupon. :D

according to cbc.ca (http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2008/12/10/office-depot-closing.html) there are only 3 office depot locations that are closing in canada - edmonton, mississauga and markham. someone wanna buy a 2gb sansa clip for me and ship it over?

I didn't know the Mississauga 427 & Dundas location was closing. Thanks to your post, I went and picked up some office/student supplies at 1/2 off!
Could someone post when the printer ink goes on sale more than 10% if you happen to see this?
And no office depot cards/coupons/cards etc are being accepted at this location anymore. Also, I tried to call and ask a question about a product in-store and they weren't interested in helping. I checked with Office Depot 1800GoDepot and they said certain things were not in stock at this location, and had to be purchased online through them, but when I went, they had some.
They were out of a lot of things though; they are clearing out really fast. It was the busiest I've ever seen an Office Depot and people were buying a lot and some had come from far away. I don't live too far, but I usually don't go in store, unless it's a printer ink emergency, usually just buy online.

Almost picked up a 2GB Sansa Clip but then I decided to give the classifieds a try. Found someone selling a BNIB 2GB Black Sansa Clip for $30 and had it in my hands within 5 hours. :) This thing is sweeeeet.
