CC: Garmin Nuvi 255 GPS - 129.96

I was just at TS:CC at the Masonville Plaza in London. The price tag said 239.99, and it's listed on the website on sale for 219, but the person working said it was on sale for 129.96, so I picked one up. Works great!

probably a human price error. Nuvi 255 is the latest model, it is newer than Nuvi 260.

saw a Garmin for $129 at the Markham Rd/14th Ave (Armadale) location... but I think it was the 205 model and not the 255.

Just ordered from SIG @ $149.99 .. was gonna hold out for the 255w in widescreen but its hardly worth the additional price.

the 200c is on clearance for 129.96, it's the same size as the 255, but does not do text to speech, and just has the US border states and canada in the built in map.

That's the normal size for them but I prefer the widescreens myself.


I've got the 260W and I can confirm that it has maps of both US and Canada. Make sure you use the internet update feature because most of the maps are at least a year or more out of date right out of the box no matter which model you get.

The 200C is a MIO.
And it does have text to speech.

opps, got mixed up, I was thinking about the garmin 200, which is on for 129, no tts, and just has border us states (and canada) didn't see it on the website though.

I PM'd this a FS on Dec. 23rd. I also got the 10% off, but I had to argue for it. After the PM, it was the cheapest price in canada on this unit by far:)
