I used to have the skip4life ropes that had just a really thin plastic handle. I recently got the nike speed rope and after 300-400 skips, my arms get unbearably sore. The things dont weigh more than like 100g or so but my arms tires out before my cardio does. I can do my 80-90 proper push ups in a row...so what muscle group should I work on in my arms to allow myself to skip longer? >.> I mainly just want my cardio to be there.

What part of your arm is feeling sore?Is it a pain from joints, nerves or just from lactic acid build up like after a long run and how your legs feel?

Feels like lactic acid build up on the bicep and tricep, I think. both side of teh arm are pretty sore...Whatever muscle you use when your arms are bent at 90 degrees...I assume like a dumbell, is hte part that is sore? I'm not exactly sure, which is why I'm asking.

If it is lactic acid build up then you are actually working on the muscles you need to target already. If not and you feel extra is need any pulling motion works the biceps pushing motion the triceps. An example dumbell curls for bi's dumbell tricep extension for tri's.There are a multitiude of other exercises for each.
