Hi guys, need some help on the following please:

My training routine is 6h/week of wing chun, 2h/wk of boxing (includes fitness, sparing etc..), 2h/wk of body pump and 1h/wk of spinning
Total of 10 to 12h per week

I have noticed lately I get out of breath really fast, i.e. i start running for 2/3 minutes and I'm already out of breath !! ...or I spare at boxing for a few minutes and get out of breath ...it did not use to be like this a few month ago..I don't really understand, it seems the more i train the worth it gets...
I eat very healthily, i weight 69kg for 1m74 and I am 40

Anyone experienced what I'm going thru ?
Can anyone help or make any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Gerard,

Conatct your health care professional and ask him about Exercise-induced asthma.Could be your issue ,might not.Either way you should seek professional advice.

Something else worth considering.

Be sure you ' warm up ' properly before you run / do cardio..

You want to warm up before you do any exercise is because you want to raise the temperature of your muscles. Warmer muscles can use oxygen and fuel supplied by your blood much better than " cold " muscles can.

That's why, for example, if you don't warm up before a run you'll get winded - " out of breath " - even though (i.e. even for those who are already in shape ), you might never get winded when you're actually well into a running session.

It's because even though your muscles are being used for running, your " cold " muscles can't get the oxygen they need - so you end up getting winded - " out of breath " - prematurely.

But as others have said, if nothing else has changed from how you've trained in the past - yet NOW you feel ' winded ' all of a sudden - it's best to see a doctor.

I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself.

You may not have anything at all wrong with you as it pertains to asthma.

Best to leave medical diagnoses to the professionals - doctors.

I think you are burn out, you did not gave your muscle enough time to recover.
