I am hoping that GSP kicks Penns ass but having said that I am not sure that will be the out come. I do not want to see Penn licking any frog blood off his gloves that night.

Who do you guys think will win the fight?

GSP has improved in all aspects of his game since their first fight.

As a fan, its GSP because he is Canadian.

As a MMA person, its tough to say. GSP has improved by leaps and bounds since the last fight.

BJ Penn on the otherhand has not but the one thing that has improved is his work ethic. At least he ain't fat anymore when he enters the octagon.

I truly think that BJ Penn is better at Jiu Jitsu and a faster striker than GSP and that might be GSP's downfall.

Also, BJ Penn is so cocky beyond belief, and thats why I hope he gets beaten down. I don't mind when a person is cocky, but BJ takes it to another level that I've never seen.

i don't watch things like "the view" or dana white's "reality shows" about ufc fights. half of the things shown on tv are there intentionally to make them look bad or cocky and to pull in bigger crowds.

and i think bj penn left that primetime show because they were portraying him negatively.

I'm going to say GSP by KO in the 3rd.

I hope people are not getting their opinon of BJ from that stupid Spike TV primetime manufactured crap. I mean look at GSP on that... he comes off as cocky as hell to and from the past he never appeared that way nearly as much as he does on the show. It is just hype build up.

Bj Penn has admitted he has come to fights out of shape, though people credit that to his loss against Hughes when he broke his rib and until that point was dominating.

I personally think GSP is going to win but I am rooting for BJ, because I think P4P he is one of the best, has been one of my favourite fights for a long time and also I want to see a GSP/Penn III.

GSP has excellent wrestling for MMA, but there is no doubt that BJ has far superior skills in BJJ. Also, BJ Penn has proven he has an iron jaw.

Yes, GSP has improved since his fight with BJ but if you think BJ has not improved you are mistaken. BJ ran through Sherk like nobody ever has.

My vote is for GSP. I think he's in the best shape for that weight devision. Just enough muscle, just enough endurance and a lot of skill.

Penn is skilled for sure and I really hope GSP doesn't get caught with one of his freaky legs but I still think GSP will come out on top.

I hope GSP wins cause he's Canadian and I like his committment to training and to the sport but I met Penn at UFC 91 and talked to him for a bit and he's pretty cool too so I'm a little torn.

Judged by the training videos from those two guys, it seems like GSP is going through all the "underground" training routines: ropes, sleighs, etc with also heavy strength training . While BJ is still doing more of a traditional bodybuilding routines. GSP looks like the ultimate athlete but I don't think that has stopped BJ Penn from beating his previous opponents.

Yes, GSP is in great shape but that is just one factor. IMO, if it gets into deep rounds I would probably give the edge to GSP to win a decision but that is assuming he wins one of the first 3.

GSP trains with Jonathan Chaimberg at J Sport and that's the sort of training they do there.

GSP, overall the better athlete, however, BJ is more technical and skillful in Mixed Martial Arts.

The fight has 5 rounds, anything could happen, just don't expect GSP to dominate like his last five rounder with Fitch because BJ Penn is a beast!

My predictions are two scenarios will play out. A) Split decision win by GSP.
B) BJ Penn wins with TKO in the third or fourth round.

Prehaps, but last time BJ was taking GSP to town standing. It will be interesting to see what happens.
