Where can I get one of these? Anyone here a rep that can hook me up?

Basically I'm on Telus with a pretty ridiculous deal:

EPP $17.50:
350 daytime minutes
Unlimited E/W @ 6pm
Unlimited Incoming
Unlimited Text
100 free LD minutes
CID/VM/CW/CF/3way

Plus $15 a month for unlimited data

I'm looking for a similar type of plan on Rogers. I'd be willing to port over my number if that helps somehow. Anyone know how I could accomplish such a thing? Any rogers reps that could set me up with a similar plan?

O_o

Wow. That is quite possibly the most fantastic plan I ever seen for a cell phone.

The odds of you getting anything close to that (spec/price) with Rogers is practically nil.

That being said, let me know if you manage to find someone to hook you up. I'll jump ship from Bell IMMEDIATELY and gladly pay the $200.00 cancellation fee + a finders fee if I can get the above plan on Rogers for a similar price.

Best I could do was:

250 daytime minutes
e/w at 8 pm
unlimited incoming/outgoing text
100 free ld minutes
cd/vm/cf

all for $20/month, I thought I had a great plan until I saw yours. My question is why switch to rogers?

I hate Rogers as a company and find that Telus has better coverage in Ontario. Their CS department is also light years ahead of Rogers.... even their tone of voice is different. And on top of that, I'll probably have to pay at LEAST double on rogers to get what I'm getting on Telus.

Of course that didn't answer your question at all.... that answer is: because I really want the iphone :(

I'm not sure if it's worth the sacrifice however.

It's not worth the sacrifice, but to answer your question, I have a pretty decent plan with Rogers. I'm currently paying $25 a month for:

300 day time minutes
U/L weekends and evenings from 6pm
U/L incoming
R2R
1000 LD minutes
Voicemail
Caller ID
Who called
125 sms
50 mms
U/L mobile browsing

That being said, I doubt you could get hooked up a deal like that being a new customer and all. If I were in your position, I'd stick with Telus. The iphone's nothing amazing anyway. Something better or comparable WILL come along. Why pay more for a crappier plan just for a phone you'll probably only be using for a couple of years?

Looks like you got a pretty good deal yourself!

I'm with Rogers and have:
250 day time minutes
U/L weekends and evenings from 6pm
R2R
100 LD minutes
Voicemail
Caller ID
$25 + saf + tx

My contract's up with Rogers in March and i've called in to Fido and Bell. Seems like they can never beat the retentions offer. I agree with ebonyRose that it's not worth switching for you.
I suppose you can take a gamble to switch to someone else and hope to haggle more features for yourself in a few months.
