what universities are really really easy to get into for engineering+coop and that dont require you to declare you exrta-curriculur activities or submit any other supplementary forms? i need a backup hence im asking. i have a 86-88% average.

I don't think you have to do an application for Ryerson engineering and is really easy to get into.

You should be able to get into almost every engineering program with that average.

I agree with your average you should be able to get into most of the engineering programs. At Ryerson though the only engineering program that is coop is chemical. The rest I think has internships you apply while in the program.

yes yes. i am probably above the cut off.
But UofT and Waterloo also look at your extra curricular activities rite.
Ryerson - yes its pretty easy to get in there. But no coop.
Carleton - hmmm. Anyone at Carleton currently? how is it generally? I havent heard much about it.

Like I said earlier, chemical engineering at ryerson is coop.
Carelton there are internships that you can do which increases your chances of getting a good job after graduation.

not just internships, carleton engineering offers coop.
ryerson has some internship deal with some hydroproject i think for electrical engineering students. But doesnt sound like a bright one.
Carleton looks like a good backup rite now. Plus its in Ottawa!
thanx for the advice. btw, I want to do electrical engineering.

I did EE at Carleton, and with those marks you are a shoe in, and with a pretty good Scholarship too.
What type of EE are you looking to specialize in?
We are pretty good in RF, Electronics, and VLSI.
But kinda lame for Power Engineering.
Or you could do like me and take most of your classes in Systems.

Guys, many of you are forgetting that pepsi_dude wants to find a BACKUP, which is always good to have even if you have good marks. Chances are he is not gonna go to this university unless something crazy happens like he doesn't get in anywhere despite his marks. So for those who say he can get into any engineering program, a backup is good to have.

Why do you need a back up when you have mid to high 80's? Pick the three tops programs in your opinion.
