Right now in second semester, I have 4.5 Credits at U of T. If I drop down to 3 will I remain a Full Time Student?
Sorry if this has been answered already, if you could redirect me that would be great.

Yes, you're going to be a full time student. Refer to the calendar, everything is in there.

Here is the deal:
you need 3 courses to be considered as a full time student for OSAP. BUT
you need more than 3 to be full time in the registrar office.

Yes 3 for OSAP, 4 for University purposes. If you are not a full-time student you may also lose student discounts and medical insurance if covered by your parents plan. If you have a disability it is 2 courses for all above purposes.

What program are you in? That could make a difference.
I'll assume you work on a credit system. I was told that you need 60% of full course load (5 classes usually) to remain "full time". But the registrar at my university uses 80% as the minimum to retain scholarships.
If you're in engineering, the credit system could be different. At my university I need to keep 300 accreditation units to remain full time, which translates to roughly 7 half semester courses over the course of a year. To keep scholarships I need to keep 80% of a full time course for my program. I also need to keep an 85% course load if I want to be on the dean's list.
You should check with both the registrar AND your department. You would NOT want to lose any scholarships.
