Ordered a Dell XPS Studio Core i7 over the xmas holidays and even upgraded on parts where they indicated "might delay shipment". The estimated shipment time was a week and the rep even confirmed it.

Day by day I kept on checking the order status and the post-production date kept on being bumped 1 day at a time. 10 days went by and I called customer service and they said some parts are still on back order and the earliest I "might" get it is 3 weeks from the time of order....:mad:

I'm tempted to cancel this order and get something else in the store.

This is the second time it has happened to me ordering from Dell. Just beware that what they posted as the estimated shipment date is often never the actual date...as you might have seen from other posts.
