Totally different monitor. If it was 280 for the first one you linked to, then its a warm/hot deal but for the older model, this isn't that hot. The old model has been on sale quite a few time for ~270.

Might want to change OP because the models/specs are completely different.

I believe the price was 299.99 before, Staples just changed it.

1920*1080 = 16:9, most 16:9s are newer models.
