Centre Hi-Fi in Montreal area is advertising the Samsung BR-P2550 Bluray Player for 277.99$. You may be able to PM with FS or BB for further savings, they are selling them at 399.99$ currently. I say YMMV because FS *REALLY* didn't want to PM this.
I successfully(?) PM'ed FS this afternoon after arguing with 2 FS managers in order to get them to honour the PM. They straight up lied to my face trying to avoid PM'ing. I won't get into details, but I may never set foot into a FS again. Well, unless I make them lose money on a PM that is. ;)

Which MTL Area FS store did you go to? I'm not in the mood to go through the same trouble if the managers won't want to respect their store policies.

Initially it was the Vaudreuil store. They denied me claiming the advertised price was a misprint and supposedly confirmed it with Centre Hi-Fi. I refuted his claim, as I had just left the store minutes before, and then he implied that I was lying or confused. I even called the same store back on my cell that he supposedly called and they confirmed the price and stock right there as he listened. He still refused, so I left there and went to the Pointe Claire store. When I asked to PM, the manager told me, and I quote: "Vaudreuil already told you its a misprint and we won't match it." The S.O.B. mgr actually called ahead to tell them to decline me, and lied to them about the supposed misprint. Of course they take his word over mine, but I eventually argued and won with the Mgr at FS by calling Hi-Fi back in front of him to confirm the promotion, but this whole ordeal has really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Has anyone actually called corporate to see what they think about that manager not honoring their policies?
I'm sure people must have... Just wondering what people's experiences with the corp side was.

I actually complained to corp, they contacted me to apologise and were kind enough to compensate me for the whole ordeal.

So maybe everyone should do that and report the manager's name and store location when they do so... Get Corp to straiten out those guys... It would be nice to get corp on the phone while he's there in front of you... wouldn't that be a crazy.
