I read on another post AST201H1 is no longer that easy because they found out people took it as a bird course lol?

I was wondering if someone could help me choose something easy (not too many assignments, notes, $100+ text books) from this bunch for this winter:

AST201H1 S
GLG205H1 S
CSC104H1 S
GGR124H1 S
FAH102H1 S
HPS211H1 S

Eng100

Heard that ENG100 is easy, but not that easy if you want to get an A.

I agree.. course load was light but it would be very very hard to get A in those research papers/essays etc.

Yes, but according to my friend who took it last year, no one in the class received less than B-, which is quite good (light course load, easy stuff, grade of B- and higher).

Easy for some is easy-ish to get an A.

Easy for some is no work to get a B.

Hard to say.

c'mon, it's ENG One Hundred at UofT. How hard can it get? Besides, if you're a UofT student, it shouldn't too hard.

I've been told AST101 and ECO100 are very easy courses to get 85+ in....but you know, you can't just go to a "bird course" and not do anything and expect to exceed...still got to put some effort into it. you could always try a hum199 too!

I just took AST101 this past semester and let me tell you that it's NOT easy at all to get 85%+ in that course. The marks are computed from 10 online quizes, 2 assignments, 1 midterm and 1 final. I got perfect on all quizes, 90 something on one assignment and 80 on the other, 76 on the midterm and i dont know what i got on the final and i ended up with a 75 final grade. I also studied hard for the midterm/final. However it is relatively easier compared to other science/math courses.

I guess it depends? I have 2 life sci friends that both got 88 and one in commerce that got 96 as he needed a science credit....so I based it on that. I didn't take it so I can't say for myself. I've taken a few "bird" courses that turned out to be way harder than I thought it would be while others just soared through the course.
