Anyone have any suggestions? The software that came with my Dell has expired and only allows me to burn wav files but I want to burn mp3's.
Thanks

You want to burn as a CD-DA (audio CD) or as a data CD (ISO9660, etc)?

Have you heard of Windows? I hear it and its Windows Media Player can play music and burn mp3s.

Windows mediaplayer sucks!!!!! I have too many coasters that should have been great music cd's! It won't even burn a wav file cd let alone an mp3. It stalls on certain tracks and just hangs there idle. I can't be bothered trying to 'master the windowsplayer' when there are others out there that work so easily. Why I ask for suggestions is that I want a free one that ppl have used and like. Maybe the stuff I'm trying to burn isn't 'clean' enough for WMP? (songs from p2p sites)

You might also want to try Totally Free Burner (http://www.dandans.com/***********Burner.htm)
Very simple interface, but it works well.

For audio CDs, I use Exact Audio Copy. I also prefer to decode the MP3s to WAV files manually (Multifrontend + LAME.EXE), since there's less chance of a surprise that way.
Burning FLAC or MP3 data CDs, I use ISO software (such as PowerISO) to build an image first, using ISO9660/Joliet + UDF filesystems. I find Nero places stuff in the order where it appears on your HDD, whereas I want stuff placed in "track order".
edit// Oops, Multifrontend is wrong; it doesn't decode to WAV. Razorlame is what I meant.
