Anybody know a good place to get a full motion mounting bracket for a 40 LCD? I've been looking on newegg and monoprice, just wondering if anyone had any experience ordering them from these sites or if there are better ones?

Thanks

From what I hear monoprice has the best prices (even with shipping to Canada) and the quality is great. I haven't done so yet, but will soon be getting two wall mounts from them.

I have found the best (least expensive) one avail locally that extends over 21 inches and is less than $200 is from costco. It extends 24 inches and is rated 175 lbs, .. It is however, expensive--$189. Costco used to have similar types for $149, but they discontinued them for safety reasons according to the clerk. The old ones mounted on one joist, where as the new ones have a large plate (45cm wide) that spans 2 joists. One can also hang the mount 7 inches vertically either way ie it can be adjusted after being screwed in which the old version could not. It is sort of like the model 4562 (rated 110 lbs, 25 inches) from monoprice (which costs $50 US plus shipping etc), except is rated for heavier.
I was looking for the one that tilts and goes +- 90 degrees and extends as long as possible. There used to be a monoprice one that extended 30 inches, but it has not been on their site for a month.

I was only able to find these at certain costco stores in the GTA. (the other stores only had the non extending ones and the small extending ones). Wal mart tiger direct and other stores seem a lot more expensive. A place in Brampton which has been referred to here (which name I forgot), did not have any extending over 21inches.

These have instns for wood studs and cement/brick.

Good luck
