I have a rogers iphone that I have had for about 4 months. Never been to happy with the reception. Yesterday I had it side by side with friend's Fido iphone and I had 2-3 bars and was not on 3G, while he had full bars and was on 3G. What are my chances of exchanging for a new one? Does it have to be at the same store? Any tips or suggestions when trying to get a replacement? Any constructive suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

At this point, only the Apple store will do anything for you. Rogers has passed the 30 day mark so you can't deal with them. Book an appointment at the Genius Bar and you're good... hope you get a nice one too as well and they'll swap it out on the spot. Just be upfront and honest, tell them what's wrong with the phone. I've had mine replaced twice due to cracks in the case or light leakage.

Have you upgraded to 2.2 yet? 2.2 has given me the best reception so far.

I didn't want to make another thread to hog up bandwidth, but I was wondering if anyone could answer the following question. Does best buy or futureshop carry Iphones? I'd much rather get it from them with a gift card rather than going to the rogers store because they have screwed me over a couple of times.

Thanks you saved me a trip to Rogers. I have upgraded to 2.2 (when it was released), and though it is better I am still not that happy. Will look into the Genius Bar.
