Hey there,

So a friend at work has talked me into buying a contract with my new phone to save some money. What I'm worried about is if I get a Blackberry and I break or lose it then Rogers will charge me up the rectum for it.

My questions:

How much will Rogers charge me if I have to drop the data plan?

If I have to drop the entire plan for some reason, would they absolutely rape me for it?

And is there anything else I should know about any fees for anything? I don't want to end up doing something that'll get my pocketbook usurped by Rogers.

Also, anyone have an opinion of the Blackberry Javelin?

Well they won't since its your phone, and it would mean you need to buy a new phone, either from Rogers or an unlocked one.

Check their site. I recall it says.

If I have to drop the entire plan for some reason, would they absolutely rape me for it?

It's like $20 per month up to a max of $400 I think?

Besides SAF and 911, not much. $6.95 and $0.50 IIRC.

Nice phone, no 3G but the UMA is interesting...

javeline has a nice keyboard, similar to curve... 3.2megapixel camera and same OS as Bold... but not 3G...

i'm still on curve 8310... i'm just deciding whether to go for bold or curve 8900
