My g/f is using a blackberry pearl 8100 and recently got a 500mb data plan. Is there anyway to track the amount of data that is being used?
Ive tried googling but there isnt very much information and rather ask the RFD experts.

I have th Blackberry Pearl 8130 from Telus with 400minute voice plan and unlimited data plan, I can check my minutes/data by going to the Telus website. I can do account changes, pay the bill, check to see how many minutes are used/remaining, text sent, data done... Check your service provider I'm pretty sure they have some where to log in and view your account. Or you can simply call in to your service provider and ask them.

Rogers will text her several times when she gets close to the 500 mb, and again when she reaches that limit.
But don't worry that much because Rogers only charges about 3 cents per mb over, and the maximum Rogers can charge for data overage is $100, which means the days of thousand dollar bills are over.

May want to add that it's not hourly LIVE updates.
It's a txt each 24hour cycle or some silly thing like that...MEANING, if in the last 24hours you blew through (by some outlandish stroke of genius TETHERED Torrents) Gigz....you'd be in the hole .
