That's the camera I'm looking to buy tomorrow but I already have a Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens so I don't need to buy the kit, would it fit on my Rebel XSi because I've read online that EF-S lens only fit EF-S cameras, while the kit comes with IS lens, would these lens still attach to the Rebel XSi?

Thanks RFD!

Yes, it works, but you can spend extra $30 and get the IS lens kit from Futureshop. 18-55mm IS lens is a lot better than 18-55 in image quality and not to mention the IS feature is nice too.

oh yeah, if you really don't want the IS lens, sell it off, I'm sure you can get at least $100 for it.
