Paying to play online sucks....it should be free, it's free on the PC to play online (Except MMO's) and its free ON PS3 and Wii

but since it's not free and i'm a sucker....

Where can i find it the cheapest

Microsoft released their version of Live for Windows which was also pay to play and guess what....ITS FREE NOW because nobody paid for it

Steam is free on the PC and does the same thing

before steam games had their own ingame browser to search for other games online or free tools like Gamespy, All Seeing Eye, Qtracker

its just another fee thats not needed, hell MMO's would be free (Guild Wars) if enough people stopped ponying up, the prices have increased for most MMO's $14.99, used to be $9.99.....it's because people just take it up the....asha

Have you seen how bad the matchmacking is with Gears of War 2? and you're paying for it

I owned a PS3 before i sold it for my 360 and i have not noticed any difference for online gaming between the two

What difference? I'm on my free gold trial for 360 and it does exactly what the free PSn does.....I play games online against other people...

this $50-60 could go towards another game on the 360

I don't like having to pay for something that should be free...BUT since I want to play online and have these games which are only fun with online I have to pony up to get that experience WHICH should be free

Yeah i will, thats why i'm looking for the best deal on this

I don't want to pay because I don't see a difference between the pay to play Xbox Live service and the FREE Playstation Network service, they both allow me to play against or with other people online and I would say both services are the same performance wise... On Live I've been disconnected on Call of Duty 4 games, Left 4 dead...Gears of War 2 takes 5 minutes or more sometimes to find a game and when it does find a game people just leave and I'm back to finding another one and waiting...
