Walmart seems to have a good price, $237:

At that price, why wait for a Japser unless you game 8 hours a day and you are worried your 360 will break?

jaspers are cooler and less power consumption, the gpu and cpu are 65nm instead of 90nm which means less heat which means less chance of RROD

and i believe i saw some jaspers in my futureshop lot 840x i believe they are jaspers

There is still supposedly a big failure rate with falcons (the ones out now) but the new jaspers are supposed to take this failure rate down even more.
As well, it should be cooler and quieter...

And less power consumed. Compared to Falcon it's not too much of a change but compared to the original Xbox, it's down from 180 to 110W if I recall.
