Did I get a decent plan?

Hey guys,

I signed up for a phone plan yesterday at futureshop, and I think I got a good deal.. but I wanted to get the expert's opinions :D

17.50 EPP Plan - evenings at 6:00PM
20.00 Unlimited email, CID, EVM, 10k text messages

Pearl 8120 - $49
$100 Future Shop gift card.


So in total it's $37.50 + SAF + 911 fee.

They had signs as if the $20 email plan was a limited time promotion.. but can this deal be had at any time?

The $20 is a new value pack that Rogers put out. I don't think it is limited time. There's a $30 one which gives you 500mb data as well.

i have the same EPP plan with my iphone except i also have the 6gb data plan.

EPP plans are awsome, so yes you got a good deal.

I just the old FIDO EPP plan (long story). It is the same as the rogers plan but the weekdays star at 5pm and I do not have to pay 911 or system access fee because it is a new contract.

This was a promotion all day yesterday at futureshop and best buy.. I just got back from futureshop today and all the signs have dissapeared, and an employee told me it is no longer available.

i got a telus plan called mer apna - punjabi for my plan - or so my friend told me as he understands punjabi - anyway it is $17.50 unlimited eves & weekends - i didn't bother to upgrade for the other stuff as i don't text or do much with my phone at all

Congrats, last I heard this $17.50 plan is discontinued...
