NO. If they wanted to see the pictures and seemed ok, I would hold the camera and show them the picture, but definitely would not give them the camera.

Cool...
so while you do that, they see a picture of them, and ask if you can delete it. Would you?

Say its a shot of a few people you want to keep... but has the person in it and he/she thinks they don't look good in it...

Who is this person? Are we in a studio, on the street?

Just met? Delete it. Your better off getting rid of the picture with "new" friends.

To random people, no.
If they said delete it as they're in it, no if i really like the photo.
Their fault for being at the wrong place at the wrong time!
To friends at school, yes.
To "new" friends, i ALWAYS have the camera strapped around my wrist TIGHT.
I dont care, it stays strapped on there TIGHT until i put it in my bag.
And all i do is show them, i wouldnt GIVE them the camera.
And i use the excuse, "it's not mine, it's my dad's" :D
As technically it is! ;)

That's a good excuse! So its normal to not want someone you don't know well touch your expensive camera right? I feel bad to say no sometimes though... since if they ask, they must really want to see it...

Yes, it was a girl. I've had girls just delete my pictures without telling me, and only found out afterward when I try to think what kind of shots I took.

I dont let anyone use my camera. And if I did not know the person then I would hold the camera and show them the pictures.
As for deleting a picture, if it was something I didnt care about, sure.. if it was a picture I wanted to keep for whatever reason, then no.

If it's someone I know I don't have a problem with them trying it out while within an arms reach of me. Usually my wacky AF setup and always having the camera in manual makes those 'oh can I try' periods fairly short.
If I'm taking 'just for fun' event shots with friends (both old and new) I'll only delete a shot if it's incredibly bad (nip slips, pootie peeking, etc). Otherwise they need to get over their ego :P

haha, that's a good one, although you won't be able to use the camera again for the rest of the time you're with that person, unless you pretend to change the battery...

Delete the picture and try to recover it using software in hopes it didn't get over written of course. Or delete it, switch to another memory card.
