I ordered a car charger + home charger from lorpor520 aka Maria Wong & paid by paypal on Nov 21, 2008. She says "I'll send it right away". Im thinking... cool I need a charger in a bad way.
The following week Im anticipating the arrival so I check my mailbox every 2 days & nothing from her. I email her & got a response..."Oh, they sent it back to my house. The info was wrong. Send me your info again & I will send it RUSH". This was the biggest BS Ive encountered on RFD to date. I have Paypal for several years now & have never had anything sent back because my info was wrong!
I give the benefit of the doubt, I wait again....nothing. Another email...."Oh Yup package sent". This was over a week now! I dont think Canada Post takes over a week to deliver a package (especially.....RUSH). It is now Dec. 15, 2008. It has been a total of over 3 weeks now! WTF!!!!
Transaction is indespute w/ Paypal. I want my money back! Scammer!

It could be a simple mistake or lorpor520 is using a Drop Ship service (ie. Seller takes your payment then orders from Dealextreme - seller pays extra $0.01 to disguise their retail shipping label).
In any case, you're waiting much longer than agreed and she should offer a refund. Since she resisted then sending it to dispute resolution is the correct method. Honestly, lorpro520 shouldn't have sold an item not in her possession (a key RFD BST Rule), and will now have to deal with a negative feedback.

I have met Maria in person before and she's a good person. She would not do something like this.

Not accusing anybody here, but doesn't Canada Post absolutely suck when it comes to express shipping or what not?
I've heard countless stories of packages being loss at the distribution centre in mississauga when packages were shipped express.
If Lorpor really did send the package, perhaps it was lost during shipment?

isn't canada post currently having a strike? that's probably the reason why the shipment is delayed.

Hold On here guys! I bought it from her because of her RFD rep to begin with. I know were not talking high dollar....the point is I needed these chargers 3 weeks ago. So before you start jumping to her defense... I have been patiently waiting for the arrival.
What would you have done differently?
Anyway, money refunded back from paypal. Im still without phone chargers. Anyone want to make a comment about that?!

Never use CP or Purolator for cross-border shipping; they have to pass it off to another carrier. Always use Fedex or UPS instead.
Canada Post Xpresspost is great for cross-Canada shipping.

I just use Canada Post all the time and their Xpress service is quick as hell. (1-2days).
Sorry to hear that Op, glad you got your money back. Seller should had been prepared or keep the item stock or wait before accepting your money.

I actually never really had any big problems with Purolator interms of shipping to the states (California), I've sent down Front and Rear car bumper ($450 for shipping) and it got there in 2.5days, Except online shipping, they made me pay twice for shipping and I had to call them up to get my money back..(aye'ah)
You are right, use Fedex, UPS, DHL(international)

This definately is a peculiar instance. I don't see someone jeapordizing their reputation for $20...meanwhile., this isn't a case of 'seller didn't show up'. You did have a deal, and this does count as a negative feedback. OUCH.
What would I have done differently? Um...NEVER ship CP within Canada...unless I'm using flat rate boxes (it's an ebay item) and the item is bloody heavier than using a professional courier services' label would be.
Did you ever have tracking for the RUSH 2nd delivery? It never went live even?

I can also vouch for lorpor520. Me and my bro met her up in person. Phone my bro bought from her was great. And I doubt that she will mess up her rep with a $20 deal when she have done probably over 10k in phones alone

I have purchased from her twice, both items were shipped to Alberta with no problems. One item was cellphone cases and the second was a midrange phone. That being said its not beyond the realm of possibility for good/reputable traders to go bad...remember ngsales anyone? Anyway, I don't think that is happening here though.

I'm another positive voter for Maria. I've dealt with her on many occasions for quite a few phones and accessories - never ever had a problem. Always met when/where she said, product was always in perfect aesthetic and operational condition.
This sounds like a stupid misunderstanding that grew to something it shouldn't have grown to.

Back when I joined RFD, I was sending cheques in the mail for my first few transactions (before EMT was popular). One particular cheque got sent back to me twice. Fortunately, I changed the envelopes each time and included the used ones for the seller to see that I wasn't lying when I kept saying the letter was being returned to me. I think it was a simple matter of a 5 looking like an S or similar in the postal code.

About 2 years before you joined. I had heard PayPal horror stories and EMT hadn't been around long/invented yet. Those were the days, riding to school on my steam-powered tricycle wagon...

OP, where do you live?? If you NEEDED the chargers like you keep saying, why didnt you just go to the store if they were such a necessity?
I mean yeah you save a bit used, but then you run into these situations...
