Well after months of investigation and the great help of my best friends, I was able to track down the person who hit-and-ran my vehicle earlier this year. ICBC refunded my $500 deductible for the damage to my rear bumper but I am still left with the depreciated value of my vehicle. Is there any further action I can take against the driver that hit me (charge them, sue them, etc.) or am I at a dead-end street?

How much bumper damage are we talking about? Over $2000? If it's under you don't have to declare it anyways. Small claims?

If you have proof that he hit you, as well as proof of the damage and everything you can probably report it to the police.
As I recall failure to remain at the scene of an accident is against the law.
Probably throw in some reckless driving as well.

Get as much proof that it is indeed the car/person who hit you and then report it as soon as you can. Good luck.
