Have anybody gone to Hitech auto? I personally think they are lacking in experience for the parts they install.... They can have a lot of high tech parts, but their service is like crap... other than knowing how to change the oil for customers, they don't even know how to install a muffler, bumper properly on a car.... Few years back, i brought my car in for installing a muffler, and after a month, the hangers for the muffler fell off and i went back, and they didn't even take the responsibility of fixing it, and saying "I don't know where you serviced the car or installed the muffler.... So we're not responsible for this issue"... i'm like WTF.... i got it installed by them... and don't know why they are saying that... Anybody has such experience at this shop located in Richmond Hill??

This the place on West/East Beaver Creek?
Last time (years ago) I remember going there, I just saw a bunch of young'ns in the back, just had a muffler welded on though. Not much problems. Don't they mostly just install alarms and radios though?

Yes that's exactly the place i got my muffler done few years back. Cause so many problems for me ... i guess they hired new service technicians there. Anyways, their pricing aren't that great, and pretty expensive.

hi-tech auto @ richmond hill specialize in ICE, alarm, remote starter, (they would also install muffler, but if bending is needed, they'll go to scarborough location to get the pipes bend)
the scarborough location specialize exhaust installation....
both places lower cars, tires mounting and wheels installation and all the
basic fluid changes and maintainance also....
correct me if i'm wrong plz...

I also had the worst experience from this shop. I used to go to Greenlane/Bayview, tried different shops for different jobs but nobody perfect. So 2 years ago (it's August in the summer) I tried Hitech-auto for HID headlight setup. They got one light never work properly (just one light on!, not safe for night driving!), went there couple of times, finally took one bulb for warranty claim. During the next few months I kept checking with them, nobody followed up, I gave it up on the next Feb, paid another shop to remove all wirings/relays/blastards/bulbs all the shxts. It was a pain to deal with them for 6 months. I didn't bother to raise that complaint on any forums, but having seen your post, you just recall my nightmere.

I had 2 alarms installed by them about 10 years ago. No problems.
Are they still doing Upsolute 'chipping' in the back?

Congratulation to your 10-year old experience.
Our friend miffybb's first question was "Have anybody gone to Hitech Auto?"
The whole positive altitude is to share our thought/experience with other members. We don't neccessarily dislike certain individual, or cover up some individuals, we are dealing with 'fact' we knew. Thanks for sharing.

But he did answer miffybb's question because he/she did go there. So his/her experience was from 10 years ago so what? Is that worse or better than your experience from 2 years ago?
Maybe the OP should change the title of thread to include "recent experience"
