The DS bundle is a pretty good deal. $99.99 is the lowest a single DS has been and sometimes that requires you to buy a game to get that price. Now you just have to buy 2 DS'... good bundle to share with a friend.
Shipping is free for all items.

Yes, it was $199.99 last year around this time during one of their DoDs.
Either way, requesting the Z-5500's is kind of pointless since they've already been put up during this DoD and Dell never puts the same product up twice.

The DS deal is pretty good, considering they're normally $130 each at most retailers. The cheapest I've ever seen them was $100 during Walmart's Anniversary sale, and they sold out in hours. It'd be nice if they offered all the colors, but they could have done worse.

The only reason they are on sale is because Nintendo is trying to clear out remaining units for the introduction of the DSi.
From the looks of it, the DSi won't be arriving for quite some time, and won't supplant the original DS because it's losing the GBA port (i.e. backwards compatibility). Even if the DSi release was imminent, the DS would be on sale at all retailers, and they wouldn't start with a color that was just released this September. Sometimes, a sale is just a sale.

Pricematch does not apply to bundles or limited time offers.
It is stated in their policy.
On the other hand people have been able to PM Dell Days before as well as bundles. So it's YMMV

In terms of compatibility ... and the overall package, IMO, is the CycloDS Evolution currently.
However, I paid ~ 50 plus 5 ship through one of our RFD guys in Toronto, www.systemgears.com, when they had their sale a 3-4 months ago for end of summer.
I love it, works right out of the box, no muss or fuss, whereas the dsst I picked up from dx has to be massaged and set up properly before you get it to work (install menu software etc ...), not sure about updates with it as well, but the price was right.

I don't get what you are trying to do here... it basically works with your exisiting set up when you plug in the HDMI into the TV and the sound comes out on your TV or your speaker if you have an audio out from your TV.

On most TVs, the optical out will only send the audio from the TV's own tuner, not from external sources (cable/sat box, movie player, etc.).

I don't know if its been mentioned before and it isn't part of the DoD, but is the red hot deal of the day is the UltraSharp 2709W 27-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor. I remember reading a bunch of ppl wanted it during the first few days, but i don't know if the price is right for you all.
It is currently on sale for $659.00, which seems pretty good. Anyways, heres the link :

I need an HDMI switcher that has a digital optical (or coax I guess) output. It needs to extract the audio from the HDMI stream from the PS3 and/or Xbox and send it to my Logitech Z-5500. I don't think this one has that, but does anybody know for sure? :?:Just put the HDMI straight to the TV and use an optical cable for sound coming straight out of your 360/PS3. You can set which wire to use for video and which wire to use for audio in your XMB and Dashboard.

Go to the sale page, click on the laptops/desktops tab. Viola.
Typically XPS are not included.

Add shipping, exchange rate, and customs fees and Dell deal is better. Otherwise monoprice stuff is great.

Yep monoprice is awesome. Bought all my component and hdmi cables from them. Shipping can take a while though since it's originating from California (correct?) or somewhere in the west.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Not bad so far. Very lightweight - having the 4 cords in the back might actually lift it up. I replaced a Monoprice 2x1 which was unpowered (this one is powered). HD Picture from Blu-Ray & Bell both looked fine to me.
