i used this for quite a while before i bought my zune and it does a pretty good job if your deck is "aux-in-less". the location of the transmitter makes a big difference as well as the number of broadcasting radio stations that are near your selected frequency. i did hear/read somewhere that these have been known to ruin ipods - something to do with always being on the charger while in use. not sure if there is any truth to that, but my ipod is dead which is why i now have the zune.

I'd just get a cheapo one from dealextreme. I had a $50 belkin FM transmitter that sucked ass. It was unusable in toronto because the stations were all overpowering the transmitter. Cheap $10 Fm transmitter (charges and plays iphone also) from DX is way better than my old belkin which I returned and can block out radio stations with its strong signal.

Yah reviews seem to be hit and miss. Main problem is the limited FM channels available.
PM online by calling BB online support. THey'd have to process the order for you.

It seems there are mixed reviews on FS. I had this product more than a year now and it still works great. I think for charger transmitter, its not a bad price. Though I don't think it's considered as a hot deal.

all FM transmitters are cr@p... had one for a while, but couldn't handle the static... installed a deck I found on sale with a front USB and now all is great. Don't waste your time/money on these, you'll regret it.

I own 2 of them, bought a few years ago, the 1st gen and the newer one as well.
They work fine for me, and haven't noticed any battery issues. I'm in the Vancouver area.
Would I buy again? Sure at this price.

Ive used this FM transmitter in the past (before the cold weather busted the wire), and Ive used two other ones in the past (Phillips and some no name brand from FD) and listened to my friends transmitter (Kensington or something) and this Monster transmitter is the best out of all of them. Theres no need to turn the volume up on the iPod and has the best reception (set the station to a higher frequency...I used 105.9 and found little to no distortion).
